There must be a mistake…

500-6

Okay who has been messing with Amazon? I find myself on a list with Cardeno, Aj Rose, Mary Calmes, Marie Sexton, B.G. Thomas? Either I am dreaming or there is something seriously wrong here.

I have to be honest, when my father told me that my writing would never amount to anything? I believed him. I stopped completely, certain that I would never be able to accomplish what others were doing. I would read books and think to myself, -yeah, I could do that-, but would never try because it would hurt too much to be wrong.

When I wrote Pitch, I had so many people encouraging me every step of the way. Then the opportunity to do 500 Miles came along and I just had to grab it.

Looking at this today? I would love to go back in time and tell my fourteen year old self the truth. You CAN do it. Oh, and to tell my father to bite me. Yeah, that would be sweet, too.
