Jake Davis has had many things in his life that could make him pissed at the world. Adopted when he was an infant, he never knew his birth parents. He thinks his adopted parents know more than they’re telling him.

His best friend is a smartass with some really bad jokes, but Jake wouldn’t trade him for the world. He’s the one thing in Jake’s life that makes sense.

During class one afternoon, a smell permeates his consciousness, mixing the desire to claim with the desire to have. When Jake tracks down the source of the scent, he’s amazed to find a young man named Zakiya, who is nothing like Jake has ever seen in his life.

Jake meets Zak and finds himself drawn to the man. It’s also going to bring out his inner beast.

Jake Davis doesn’t know it yet, but every question he’s ever had about his life is going to be answered, but is he ready to hear them?
