‘Lost Time’: My story for GoodRead Event

Lost Time by Parker Williams

Lost Time by Parker Williams

My friend Sjd Peterson asked me if I was going to do the Goodreads ‘Love Has No Boundaries’ event this year. I said I didn’t think I would, but she encouraged me to look at the pictures anyway. I did and found one that caught my eye. This is the story request that came with it:

Dear Author,

I was hoping you could tell me the story of these two beautiful men?

They have known each other for many years. They were close friends for a long time, but life just got in the way and their competitive careers and busy lives meant they somehow fell out of touch. They never forgot about each other, and they have both been waiting for this moment for years.

I’d like to see an emotional reunion, maybe a hint of hurt/comfort in there somewhere if you can fit it in, but most of all just a whole lot of love (I’m a hopeless romantic!).

Please, no paranormal elements (I’d like a contemporary romance) and preferably no BDSM either, and I would really appreciate a wonderful HEA. If nothing else, please just give me a happy ending I know I’m requesting an emotional story, but I’d like it not to be too angsty, if possible.

Many thanks,

Lauren

From this came Lost Time, the story of Kurt and Alex, friends from birth who separated when it came time for college with promises of staying in touch. Life got in the way, however, and they drifted apart. Years later they came together once again and secrets that they each had was forced into the light.

KC Wells and Parker Williams Collaborate!

KC Wells, author of Learning to Love – Sean and Michael, Learning to Love – Evan and Daniel, Learning to Love -Josh and Chris, plus several other works in progress, and Parker Williams (that would be me) have come together to write “Someone to Keep Me”, the story of Scott, a young American man who leaves home and travels to England to meet up with a man he met on the Internet. When he arrives he finds that Jeff is nowhere to be found. Feeling abandoned and alone, Scott sits on a bench, crying, when he hears the voice of the man who will change his life, Ben Winters.

Ben is a bartender at Collars and Cuffs, a local BDSM club. He takes Scott under his wing and introduces him to Leo Hart and Thomas Williams, co-owners of the club, and Doms as well as their subs Alex and Peter.

Together this group will lead Scott to discover aspects about himself that he didn’t realize existed, but when push comes to shove, who will Scott choose? His family or the man he may have feelings for?

500 Miles

Since he was fourteen, Mark knew he loved Jase, his brother Eric’s best friend. As Jase and Eric leave for the Army, Jase leaves Mark something to hold onto, but when the two men are shipped to Kuwait, things change when Jase tells Mark he’s met someone. Confused and hurt, Mark is left to wonder what happened. Eric returns, but with devastating news – and needing Mark’s help. Can Mark help the man who broke his heart? Or will he let Jase push him away – for the second time?
